Skalpel
the legend of Polish electronics - on July 25 played under neon lights at Ruska 46!
The duo of Igor Pudło and Marcin Cichy was formed in Wrocław at the beginning of the 20th century. Since then, the producers have released a number of fantastically received albums, including on the prestigious label Ninja Tune
The last of them, "Highlight", is - as the musicians themselves say - a document of a joyful, creative explosion. Skalpel took a breath and returned with the most rhythmically diverse and harmonically richest album in the discography. In recent years, the band has toured with a big band, performing their studio compositions in arrangements for a 17-person orchestra.

In a neon backyard, they will present new material, prepared especially for this occasion. We don't know what to expect - will it be a return to the duo's roots or an eclectic trip into the unknown?
Reception of Sound is a series of five events organized by Klubokawiarnia Recepcja. The history of the Ruska 46 backyard is inextricably linked with grassroots, alternative movements that fit in with the rich traditions of the Wrocław counterculture. That is why we invited artists representing the most interesting trends of the Polish independent scene to play in this space illuminated with historic neon lights.
Tving Stage Design prepared mapping especially for this occasion, which was a reference to Skalpel's visual work.
