“Frequency” – vertical dance and video mapping event as part of the Krakow Dance Festival.
LineAct creates site-specific performances using rope techniques and contemporary vertical dance techniques. They are looking for innovative and original solutions in creating a theatrical spectacle in urban space. Their performances penetrate the urban fabric in which they are created. An important aspect of their activities is entering into a dialogue with architecture and recognizing its movement potential. Not content with merely passive interpretation of the image, LineAct provokes the discovery of surprising relationships between the dancer and the surroundings.

"Frequency" - the combination of fascinating frequency themes with expressive art forms, including music, dance and 3D animation. Inspired by frequencies, which are a fundamental element in sound and movement, and everything what we can see.

In "Frequency" dance becomes not only a form of artistic expression, but also a means of communication with sounds and vibrations. Dancers blend in with the rhythmic pulsation of sounds, interpreting them through their bodies and gestures. Each movement becomes a response to the visual effects, creating a sense of harmony between sounds and movement.

Under the direction of director Katarzyna Gorczyca, "Frequency" becomes a spectacle of accessibility, depth and symbolism, where every gesture, every sound, every light is characteristic of the climate and atmosphere.

The music of Aleksander Wnuk, a sound virtuoso, provides an extraordinary background for the expressive effects of the dancers, transporting the viewer into a trance and obtaining results over the nature of expression.

The dancers, Nina Minor and Dagmara Piasta, through their unique competences and artistic sensitivity, are transported to the world of vertical dreams and effects, where every gesture, every sound hit, every body load is an expression of deep feelings and experiences.

Additional 3D animation is an integral part of this show, enhancing the visual experience and adding another dimension to frequency interpretation. Images animated by Tomasz Gawroński with the sounds and actions of dancers, creating visual symphonies that introduce the view to a mesmerizing world of abstraction and reaction.

The creative application of art, science and technology, our performance provides the basis for revealing the discovery that lies at the heart of frequency.
