2017
                            always & everywhere

For the eighteenth time, Spodek in Katowice will be dominated by fans of club music for the whole night. In just over a month, the next edition of Mayday Poland will take place there. Every year, the organizers surprise with something new. It will be no different now. Two stages, over 20 artists and almost 20 hours of continuous fun await the participants of Mayday 2017. This year's motto of the festival is: always & everywhere. Simply put, Mayday is guided by the idea that techno accompanies us always and everywhere. This will certainly be the case in Katowice.

MAYDAY is more than just a festival. It's a real experience. The organizers, in addition to a rich and strong line-up, make every effort to create spectacular experiences.

This year, thanks to TSE, which supplied a dizzying amount of LED bars and futuristic RGB LED balls with motorized winches, we had the opportunity to vj not only with visualizations, but also with the entire space of the iconic Spodek.

Last year's edition of Mayday had one of the best line-ups in years. The organizers do not rest on their laurels and raise the bar again.
After a break of several years, Sven Väth, a German music producer and DJ, active on the stage for over 30 years, will play again in Spodek. He became famous in the music industry in the 90s, when he opened two popular clubs in Germany and started his own label Cocoon. Sven Väth is known for playing underground electronica. It combines techno, trance and ambient. His longest set ever lasted around 30 hours. This is the most anticipated artist of the festival.

This year, Katowice will also be visited by a large representation of Berlin techno. RØDHÅD will perform in front of the audience. His sounds oscillate around dubtechno, techno and house. Anyone who was at last year's Off Festival knows that even after three days of jumping, RØDHÅD doesn't give you a chance to sit down. In addition to what they can afford, the Berlin trio FJAAK will show. They started by combining instruments with electronics. Currently, they focused on old school techno and house. From Berlin will also come Recondite, known for tracks with several million views on the Internet, such as: "Leafs", "Levo", or "Undulate", as well as Dax J
Kangding Ray and Emmanuel.

Of course, not only Berlin has outstanding DJs. Mayday 2017 will also feature
Pär Grindvik, a representative of the Swedish techno scene,
Oscar Mulero, a Spaniard, and Keith Carnal, a Dutchman.
Polish performers will include: Kaludia Gawlas (permanently residing in
Germany), Piotr BejnarSin and El'mirka.
