20 YEARS MAYDAY POLAND
The 20th edition of the Mayday Poland festival, an already iconic event in the world of electronic music, is ahead of us. The organizers announced that this year's Mayday would be unique, and indeed it is.
The first edition was a timeless and innovative event, it became a precursor to the techno music scene and made an amazing impression: 3,500 lovers euphorically experienced the new sound on the huge dance floor in Katowice's Spodek. A year later, twice as many fans had fun and created a new youth culture, which for many became a lifestyle, and the Mayday event in Poland became an important part of the history of techno music.
Westbam returns for Mayday
The twentieth edition is the best moment for the great return of the legend. Westbam will play Mayday for the first time in several years. Apart from him, there will be leading figures of the techno scene. Among others, Amelie Lens, Dubfire,
Sam Paganini and Marco Bailey will appear. There is also a treat for fans of the classic sound of this event.
During this edition, there will also be a stage where Da Hool, Kai Tracid and Dune will play.
