WROOKLYN ZOO,
directed by Krzysztof Skonieczny
is a powerful story about love emerging within a harsh urban reality. The film follows the meeting of two very different worlds – the carefree life of a young skateboarder and the closed, tradition-driven environment of the Roma community.

When a strong bond forms between the protagonists, they must confront the pressure of their surroundings, loyalty to their families, and the brutality of a world where violence and street gangs are part of everyday life. The story unfolds at the intersection of social drama and a coming-of-age narrative, exploring emotions, conflicts, and choices that can change lives forever.

In a realistic and intense way, the film portrays the tension between freedom and tradition, personal desires and the expectations of the community, creating a story filled with authenticity and strong emotions.

Tving was invited to design the lighting for one of the scenes filmed at the Transformator Club in Wrocław. The lighting concept for the club scene was created to capture the energy and power of Wrocław’s club culture, which has been thriving in the city for over a decade.

Drawing inspiration from the atmosphere of rave culture, the installation was based on the use of lasers which, combined with mirrors, created a sense of infinite light—reflecting the hypnotic, immersive spirit of techno.
