DEAS is certainly one of the most diligent and consistent musicians of the Polish dance scene.
The lockdown time was extremely successful, focusing on work, which resulted in as many as five analog albums that were released during the pandemic and post-pandemic period. Almost two weeks after a very successful performance at the Extrema Outdoor Belgium festival, and earlier Opener, the artist can boast of a new release - the Form Follow Function EP on his own label BAUMUZIK (distributed by Triple Vision).

What is the BAUMUZIK label?
Let us remind you that the concept behind the label is a total work: it is to focus not only on music, but also on art. This interdisciplinarity has a dimension in the quality of the music it will offer in its BAUMUZIK catalog (not only DEAS itself, but also other invited artists will publish here) and in the graphic aesthetics in which the visual identification will be presented. The idea for it, of course, lies in pre-war art and architecture - it is inspired by the Weimar school of architecture and design, i.e. one of the branches of modernism - the Bauhaus style.
Functionalism, minimalism in art and music
Simplicity, functionalism and minimalism are the features that the artwork takes on, but also the music on the latest album Form Follow Function. These sounds are not overcomplicated, but functional. Because they are supposed to work on the dance floor!

DJ support for the EP
Numbers from Form Follow Function will certainly be heard on European and world dance floors, because they are already played by such DJs as Blawan, Ben Klock, Kangding Ray, Claudio PRC or Adam Beyer. Let's call it Global Techno Culture. And let's wait for the next release BAUMUZIK with number three.
