In the new collection The Dawn
Unusual fashion show of the newest collection of the Silesian brand Synthetic 100% natural, by the designer Katarzyna Łozicka-Matkowska, known for its avant-garde forms and minimalist geometry, set in pure black.
In the new collection The Dawn, clothing is like a protective layer – like a mulch, which protects a living tree or shrub against external conditions. This is the subject of a fashion show, or maybe more a performance that combines various fields of art – visual, sound and functional. The specific movement and silhouettes refer to the iconography linking the mulch with the image of a dormant nature, dawn, a kind of hibernation, through endless layers, evolving over time with the sun appearing on the horizon.

The performative fashion show Synthetic is a kind of spectacle in which light, sound, movement and presented designs played equal roles. Visualizations by Tving Stage Design were displayed on 360 screens, and the images were accompanied by sounds played live by fmttm. The role of the models was played by students and graduates of the AST dance department:

The inspiration to create the "Dawn"
collection presented at the Patchlab festival was the mulches, which, like a man's clothes, protect trees and shrubs from unfavorable external conditions. The dancers wandering around in the company of light and sounds, taking off subsequent layers, referred to the iconography combining manure with the image of dormant nature, which evolves, changes, and finally, with the sun appearing, wakes up again to life.
